Donovan Flores Wins XMod Main Event at El Paso WoO Night
A raceday on a Tuesday??? Well it happen for the World of Outlaw STP Sprint Cars, at the El Paso Speedway Park. With the Outlaws the USRA X Mods came along. There were 21 X mods showing up to get ready, and win the $500 purse.
So the X mods come out for there main event. "Fire Ball" Donovan Flores starts on the pole, with 30 laps ahead of him, and 20 cars behind him.
The green flag waves and Flores takes off. Georges flying throught the field with a lot ahead of her. Patty Rush putting a fight to hold on to your top 5.
A few laps in and Donovan has just left your field in the dust. Jacob Gallardo getting into a X mod the number 18 car. So Jacob won his heat now trying to crack the top five!! Levi Roberts in the 25r car hes the only driver sticking to Flores. So he's going to make Donovan worry about something!! But onto your top five comes Jacob & Christy.
Lap traffic comes into play so Levie Roberts now catching up to Donovan and now "FIRE BALL" IS IN TROUBLE!!! But now into 3rd come Georges!! And Mingo in the 47 cracks the top 5!!!! Gallardo falling out of your top 5.
Finally Donovan escapes from lap traffic faster that what Levie did. So the black and white waving for the 07 of "FIRE BALL" Donovan Flores taking home the $500 pay day.

Jake Gallardo , Garrett  Alberson, Donovan Flores and Rudy Tarin were our Trophy Winners at El Paso Speedway Park Friday night May 3rd.
It was a chilly afternoon at the El Paso Speedway Park, but thanks to all the fans for sticking in, as  you fans were in for a treat and you got it. We had the USRA Modifieds, CDM Late Models, D&S Street Stocks, and the Hornets on tap for the night’s entertainment.
The Hornets came out for their feature event, 12 laps on the Argyle score board. Your pole
starter was the birthday boy Rudy Tarin!! The green flag waved and Rudy took off. He had the 75 of Popeye Binkley in second, but Rudy found a way to get away from him. At the half way home point Rudy dominated. The 11 car of Nick Ornelas spun right in FRONT OF YOUR LEADERS!!! The leaders dodged him and Nick got it back together as it staid green flag racing. But next time around in turns 3 & 4 the 75 of Popeye Binlkey HITS THE LIGHT POLE!! The good news is that he was okay and would continue. On the restart it was Rudy and Larry Maag. Three to go and the way they started for the restart was the way they would finish. Your race winner, on his birthday, was RUDY TARIN! Top 5... mr13, 12, 75, 67, 812.
Up next were the CDM Late Models with nine of them on the line. Fifteen laps were on the Argyle score board. Sherman Barnett with Garrett Alberson made up row one. The green waved and Garrett was off. Garrett was no longer to be seen as in second was the g17 of Fito Gallardo. Does he have enough time to get Garrett, that’s the question. Well, he had a chance because Cliff Hansen came to a stop on the high side of turn one. At the restart it was Garrett and Fito. They fly and run away from the pack, but Gallardo had nothing for Garrett. Garrett Alberson took the win for the CDM Late Models.
Up next were the D&S Road Side Street Stocks, seventeen of them checked in. It was Anthony Vega starting on the pole with Bobby Kimpel,Jr. to his outside. The green flag waved and they were off. With 16 to go Brandon Cruze took the lead, but here comes Donovan Flores. He was going to give it his all to get Brandon and they went about 5 laps before he passed him, with 9 to go!! As they were busy flying, the green flag waves and its Donovan, Brandon and John McDaniel!! But the black and white at the stripe showed it was DONOVAN FLORES!!
Up next were the USRA Modifieds and 15 mods have lined up. Royal Jones in 131 with Mercedes Harris were on the front row. The green waved with Royal just dominating. As he led, he had the Gallardos right behind him the whole entire race. The 44 of Georges pulled off with 23 to go. With 18 to go, lap traffic came into play. Royal took off while the Gallardos were going at it hard! As they did that, Royal just took off more and more, until the j17 of Jacob Gallardo cleared Fito. Bumber Jones moved into 3rd, and the white flag waved. Royal had led every single part of this race!! With half a lap left to go it was still Royal. In the exit of four a disaster happened and Royal held on through a  whole bunch of lap traffic in the last turn with Jacob Gallardo on the high line!!
JACOB SPINS BARNETT AND HE GOES LOW. ROYAL WOULD HAVE WON IT IF BARNETT DIDN’T COME LOW WHEN HE WAS SPUN OUT!! So it’s Royal Jones losing by CENTIMETERS to Jacob Gallardo!!!
Royal Jones, after leading 29 & 3/4 laps of it, loses it in the last foot!!!
                                                                                                                    Ruben Mireles
Jake Gallardo, Patrick Carney, Rudy Tarin, Mike Wells and Brady Labree
were the Main Event Winners at El Paso Speedway Park Friday May 17th.
